About two weeks ago a lot of the leaves just fell off without any wind.
The other day I pealed some of the bark off and found an ant that is black with a red ball tail. What can I do to save this tree? I planted this tree about 11 years ago.
Thank you. betty johnson

It continued with new growth this spring on the lower/outer branches. My yard service cut the branches at about 8 feet high and in the process showed me the tiny white bugs on the upper leaves and stems. They suggested I get a spray to kill these bugs. What bug is causing this problem and what product would you recommend to resolve it. Could this spread to other trees and plants in my yard?
